The company today
BALÓNY KUBÍČEK spol s r.o., is an independent company specialising in the design and manufacture of hot-air balloons and airships. The company was moved from an extensively rebuilt factory in Francouzská street, part of the historic center of Brno, to a very new facility in Jarní street in eastern part of Brno.
The company, which has now built more than 900 balloons, continues in the best traditions of Kubíček s r.o. and combines the best of the old with the very latest technology to ensure that its products are second to none. The quality of the company's workmanship and reliability are attested and approved by EASA certificates - POA, DOA, MOA and type certificate.
The Kubicek factory has the feel of family business and you will notice this as soon as you walk through the door. The factory team is a tight knit group, most of whom have been a part of the company since its early days. Production is lead by Radim Polacek whilst Michael Suchy heads up the sales team. The factory team are assisted by its ally and advisor Crispin Williams, the well-known British balloonist, and a world-wide family of national dealers.
