First weekend of December - Balloonist Day in Belgium
Together with all main European balloon manufacturers Kubicek Balloons took part with blue exposition at this important event for the 3rd time. Good success due to help of Niels Kon, his surprising skill when was preparing and packing stand, advisory and service to the client especially in Flemish language. Thank youNiels!And of course special thank to the head of the event, Mr. Dirk Simoen from the RoyalBelgian Balloon Federation.

Cylinders prices increased!
Together with new regulations and necessity to provide ADR certification for road transport, all main producers increased prices of the cylinders. Pleasecheck new prices of cylinders in our price list. Good news: all products manufactured in Brno still on the same price level!2 nd November 2004

Fabric records
Two of our balloons in Austria passed their annual 100 hours exam in last days. And what's interesting? They have more than 650 (resp. 750) flight hours and both passed grab test exam by Nick Binder, Cameron Balloons dealer with accreditation from the Austrian Ministry of Transport to do C of A on Hot Air Balloons. Both balloons can fly on without any problems another 100 hours.Which better quality test of Kubicek Polyester do you need?

Btw. our first airship AV 1 after 10 years of flying with original envelope made of Kubíček Polyester has 980 hours and more than 1000 flights!!! In this condition it established a new world record in flight duration (see Well done ) and it's one of our most successful aerostats.

New technology - digital print
Our airbrushed balloon artworks are well known already many years. One of the best from the last time was Shrek balloon ( more photos ). After experiments with small-area digitally printed pictures we exceed excellent results on the large printed artworks too. Now you can choose if you want to paint your artwork by airbrush or print it. Of course better graphic bases are needed for the printing.You can see the detail of Flims envelope, where the "neverending" mountains around the envelope are printed.

New special shape - DHL container
New special shape was produced at Kubicek's Factory. And it's something very special! Giant transport container of DHL company could carry for example 260 Formula 1 cars.We produced it in 12 weeks only for Stratos Ballooning, Germany, who will operate it worldwide. See on these photos smily face of Markus Haggeney, when he overtook the DHL balloon personally in Brno.

Petr Kubicek with Demo balloon took part in balloon fiesta in Ukrainian "Kamenets-Podilsky".
The most famous local interest thing is possibility to fly under the bridge. Petr Kubicek has underflown successfully, also did the Russian pilot of Kubicek hot-air airship AV 1.

Kubicek Balloons suceeded with BB-series balloons
type certification
by Interstate Aviation Committee. This certificate covers all IAC members countries - Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russian Federation, Tadjikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine.

Mr. Aleďż˝ Kubíček and whole staff of his companies regrets the unexpected death of our dealer Mr. Diego Criado del Rey Sďż˝ez. Sincere sympathy and deep condolence to the family and balloon friends missing him since Friday May 23, 2004.

World record with AV 1
Augur team claimed to establish a new world record in flight duration with our older airship AV 1. The result is 6:04 hours, so that is almost one hour more than the last record, more than 12 years old.At the moment of take-off was the temperature on arctic -33°C.More details in press release (in Russian only).
