Tom Abe - Kubicek dealer in Japan
Mr. Tsutomu Tom Abe arrived personally to the factory to overtake dealer´s Accreditation documents beginning of this December.
Just a formal step in jumping into the group of the most important Kubicek Balloons dealers. Good luck next year, so important ballooning year for Japan!
G3 Conference
We had a pleasure to invite in factory meeting of our german speaking delaers, also called "G3 conference".
We disscussed with our important representatives their troubles and successes and have planned the future strategy on their markets.
1st Truffle Cup Balloon Meet in Italy
Excellent place to do ballooning managed by our dealer Mauro Oggero in Peraria company and his new enthusiastic teammember Barry Birch, leader of ballooning activities.
Good weather, exciting Truffle Grab, good food and wine, comfortable stay in a castle.
Just sometimes small landing places in the middle of wineries...
P.S. 1 kilo of truffles (value of 4.000(!) EUR) was won by the Milanese pilot Riccardo Trombetti on Saturday.
New Price list
The new price list of our products is valid from September 1, 2005. Not only the prices were changed, but also the structure of the price list,
so that you can check very easy, that we sell more for less.
Balón Kubíček in the World
During summer Kubíček demonstrator balloons run over all the wolrd. One of them visited even western coast of Ireland, place never touched by hot-air balloon till now.

Harley-Davidson among baskets
For one important customer from Germany we made a very special basket.
According to customer's request there's a smooth black leather on the top rim and the poles covers.
Same material is used for very special sidewall cushion around all the basket, for the pockets and bags,
and also all the leather on the bottom is coloured to black. Only zips in poles covers are red.
In general the impression is great, the baskets looks very luxury and little bit rebel; similar feeling
you could have on good chopper or an expensive car.
World Games
Digitally printed BB26 from Kubíček was the only one official hot-air balloon of this year's World Games in Germany.

Opened!
New hot-air balloons and airships factory was opened by the owner Aleš Kubíček
and councillor of Southern Moravia, Mrs. Marie Cacková. For such unique
factory very original opening was needed. The tie was not cut, but burned by the
balloon burner. After the ceremony, the factory was opened for visitors to see
the balloon production. The envelope workshop with many envelopes and kilometers of fabric,
basket production and metal workshop, where the burners are made.
The part of ceremony was also the exhibition about the history of Kubíček company and the party.
Almost 200 guests, including company dealers, CAA officers, partners and suppliers, and also
the neighbours took part of the opening. Aleš Kubíček personally took off with the balloon
from the factory in the evening to show the neighbours what does the balloon flying mean.
Grand Opening
New factory on Jarni street will be opened officialy. The event called "Grand Opening"
is planned for June 2, 2005 and takes part of Balloon Jam,
the biggest balloon event in Czech Republic.
The hetman of Southern Moravia, Mr. Stanislav Juránek, accepted the invitation for
official ceremony and he will snip the tie and start the visit in the factory.
All the guests then see the production of hot-air balloons and airships in probable most modern
balloon factory in the world. Some refreshment after the visit will be prepared,
and the day will finish by the balloon flight of Balloon Jam participants.
Sunny weather on first day of April wishes also all the best to Aleš Kubíček, the founder and owner of Kubicek Balloons, during the celebration of his great life jubilee. He took the mufflers as a gift with humour, because it's clear, that because of all his activities they will be kept in a wardrobe. It was great party, there was enough eating and drinks, including a big cake in a shape of old factory on Francouzska street. We are wishing good luck to next 50 years!

German Federation Meeting 2005, Gladenbach
Together with our representative in Germany, Mr. Markus Haggeney, we took part of German federation conference
in Gladenbach at the end of March. Successful presentation of Kubicek Balloons in front of the convention hall
we prepared in Ennigerloh during the visit in Stratos Ballooning, where we planned how to be most visible balloon producer there.

We are proud to obtain certificates No. BA.001 to BA.004 and to be a first balloon manufacturer who got the very new EASA type certificate for all our balloon types.
World Records with Airship AV1 - Neverending Story
Our imperishable airship AV1 established another world record in flight duration, female this time. The performance is 3 h 21 min 44 sec. More details on the page newsru.com (site in russian).
Visit from Germany
We have welcomed a big visit in our factory in last week. The group of 20 german pilots looked at the production, and as we heard, they left satisfied and with great impressions.
Kubicek Balloons Factory has moved!
During January the long awaited move was done. The company now produces its balloons in very new, spacious factory on Jarní street. Please look at new contacts and arrivals to the new factory. The official opening ceremony will follow in few weeks.
