New season begun by festivals in attractive overseas destinations

Putrajaya Festival in Malaysia, pilot Mohammad Sobri Saad and Namibian Hot-Air Balloon Festival took place at Uis in Bradberg with our norweigian dealer Hans Rune Mikkelsen.

First Kubicek balloon to Malaysia

Very pleased to show his very new balloon called Kedah Darul Aman today to Mr. Mohammad Sobri Saad from Malaysia. It was frozen but calm bright morning. We wish you Sobri such a nice sunny weather for all your future flights.

Success in Transalpine flights this Winter

Announcements and facebook reports with nice images arrived from our clients last month (pilot Michael Neukirchinger with big ride balloon, Nikolaj Galkin with a special shape Vostok, Richard Gratz with relatively small balloon 3.400 m³). Four Czech + five Austrian teams did such Complete Alpine Balloon Crossing in a formation flight under the leaership of Peter Flaggl last week of January. Flight details from one of them:

Excellent success of factory pilot Petr Kubicek at Europeans 2011

Blue Kubicek demo XR racer was excellent in Lleida, Spain. Petr and his goalseeking and sucess-focused team reached the best Czech result on the Continental championship ever. Congratulation to his 4^th place.

Flying Fish - happy or angry?

A new special shape Fish has left to Italy to support promo for concert tour. Kubicek Balloon factory has got a confidence to manufacture flying white FISH for Igor Charbonier and his company Charbonnier Mongolfiere.
Although designer thought different way first and changed mouth to more happy-looking fish, it did not pass through our quality manager who recoverd smily face as a non-compliance with the original visualisation. Igor, lets fly the angry fish...

Brad Craig won at Indianola

The newest name listed on the board of Champions at Indianola is - Brad Craig! This is a fantastic success at one of the most prestigous events in the US started already in 1970. Brad is a Kubicek Dealer for Central North US. Kubicek ZOO eXtreme Racers are doing well there, while Cheetah finished on 2^nd place last year, Brad occupied 1^st place this year! While green balloon ramains in Iowa in Brad's hands, a very new Hummingbird balloon flown in Indianola with Jan Suchy as a pilot will continue the tour to US Nationals in Battle Creek and then on another destinations with Kubicek dealers.

4. Mondorfiade story

Our active dealer in Luxembourg organised already 4^th Mondorfiade. Together 18 teams from Holland, Belgium, Czech Republic, England, Germany, Spain, France and of course Luxembourg took part. Five flights from six possible occured plus two night glows in addition.

The winner of the task Marc Olinger Trophy:

3. Jacky Beaudiere on KBL balloon BB26Z (71 years old)

Big balloons for Sweden

2 another big balloons left factory direction to the north - Sweden. Our superactive dealer Casbar and his company renewed the fleet and partners promoting on their balloons. So Microsoft Azure followed Park Inn and Atlas Copco in a fast sequence. Enjoy images of big Swedish balloons.

Russian market

Andrey Denisenko from Russia is frequently in a factory in last period being besides our delaer Stanislav most important client in Russia. He comes either for a big bottom end for his passenger business in Moscow, or for a new balloon for his sponsor Chistaja Linia. Sometimes just passing by on the way to fly balloons and ski in the Alps, or heading to watch personally final battles of Ice Hockey World Championship. Pleased to meet you next time soon again, Andrey!

Leading eXtreme Racers

All 4 Czech teams participating in Latvian Nationals in Valmiera (25-29^th May, 2011) occupied first 4 places! Tough competition under leadership of excellent Ihor Gosha Lobashov (UKR) with 30 tasks in 5 flights, won David Linek on DLNK balloon. He collected 26.570 competition points what gives an excellent preformance of 886 points in average. Follow other pilots all again on Kubicek X-Racers: Pavel Kostrhun (balloon Renc), Michael Suchy (balloon Kubicek demo), Miloslav Skorpik (balloon Faster).

ZOO series goes on

The special ZOO series has a new member! The eXtreme Racer with the motive of Hummingbird left the factory recently and is flown in the U.S.A.

50^th Anniversary of first man in space. Kubicek takes part.

The World, and Russia especially, celebrates the 50^th anniversary of the first man in the space - Yuriy Gagarin. The part of the official event will be also a flight of copy of Vostok spaceship, made by Kubicek Balloons. Yes, correct, we built a special shaped hot-air balloon in the shape of Vostok, as a model in the scale of 7.4:1.

It's basically project of Stanislaw Fuodoroff, (www.pbo.ru), the Russian pilot, recordman and Kubicek sales representative in Russia, who will fly the balloon on the official celebration in Moscow, then 20 Russsian cities and then all over the World during this year.

The first introduction to the public occured on Saturday, April 2^nd in front of the Kubicek factory.

• For production was needed 2.500 m of fabric and 21 km of thread.

Last special shape of 2010 season

Last special shape, we have delivered to the customer in 2010 was the Gaulhofer cube to Austria. Many thanks to Irene and Peter Flaggl and many soft landings to the pilot and his new balloon.
