How to become a balloon pilot?

Every country has its own licensing requirements and either your national dealer or your national balloon federation will be able to advise you of your country's requirements. Balloons are simple aircraft to fly and anyone who is able to drive a car should have little difficulty in obtaining a pilots licence. Most countries require that you complete a numb of flight exercises during in a minimum of 16 flying hours. After this practical training there is a flight check with an examiner and a few written exams to pass.
