Graphic bases for design department
- The best solution would be vector graphics, e.g. in a Corel Draw format (*.cdr), Adobe Illustrator (*.ai) or Postscript (*.eps, *.ps) for PC which is the best or for MAC.
- As far as bitmap graphics are concerned, they should be scanned from about 300 dpi in any common bitmap format (*.jpg, *.tif, *.bmp, *.gif) and colour model (Indexed Colour model, RGB, CMYK). If there are more inscriptions or logos, then it best to do an assembly drawing only by rough scanning + detail drawings of the inscriptions and logos into further separate files to very high scanning - about 600dpi (in general, as smaller letters or logos, as higher scanning). Before e-mailing, please do use any compression program (WinZip, ARJ, RAR), which cuts down the file size (inapplicable to the JPEG bitmap format because of its own quality compression).
- Rather than non-quality bitmap graphics (e.g. jagged edges of designs after large scaling due to very low scanning), you could send a bright and sharp version of graphics on paper or printons approximately in form of A4 sheets.
